Gps fix on 06.15

Hey guys, I know there is no offiicial fix for the gps issue on 06.15, and I don't think there is any way of downgrading 06.15 on 3GS either, but I have come across peeps on craigslist and kijiji who are claiming to fix gps on 06.15 for 10-20 bucks. Is it a scam or is there any backdoor way of doing this. I'm just trying to figure out what the cheapest way to fix my iPhone gps is. It's either some software hack or a hardware accessory like Magellan or tom-tom car kits with the built in gps receiver, which go for around 70-100 bucks.

Not sure about this fix. Maybe they will solder the iPad modem on your phone...although you would lose the ability to make calls...

Yeah it's weird. Two peeps emailed me saying they can fix the gps problem on 06.15 but then I called them and they just vanished, told me they'd call back but never did.

Looks like I'll have to dish out 100 bucks after all to get my gps back
