Help With o2 site unlock "scheme"

I have been tryin for almost 2 days yet no Live chat Rep has messaged me. im not sure wat it is... There have been a couple people who have unlocked their iphone 4 via o2 live chat. Can someone help me out? i cant seem to figure out the problem....

I was on the o2 site and live chat came up. The rep said they could unlock my 3GS within 5 mins. They came back to me and said all done but it's not. I've since been trying to talk to one again but no joy. I can't work out where they are. Maybe they're not bothering with live chat??? If you manage to get hold of one please post back here so I can continue looking otherwise I might just have to give up! :-( Thanks.

make sure your anti pop-up setting is turned OFF. go to the support section and try to chat with Lucy. she'll ask you if she's answered your questions, if no.. then click here. often times that will launch the java script and the live chat your seeking.

for what its worth, here are some pics of my IMEI unlock from o2. previously i was locked on ATT, but now im unlocked and verified on the T-mobile network. Thanks o2

SO apparently, O2 can unlock AT&T-locked phones? How is this possible? Do I need a contract with O2? I'm in the U.S.

Can someone please fill me in on this?

Just say that you havent recieved your sim card yet but you would like your iphone unlocked in time so you can start using your sim card ASAP....

Same for me indeed... They say it is ok but nothing so far... Maybe it has to connect at least once to O2 to work?

ive tried this alot of times over the past few days as well.

you load the unlock form page and if there is a CSR available, a window will pop up and you will be in live chat.

no matter how many different ways i try to spin it, it always comes down to the phone needing to be on the O2 network for them to do it.

i always say im using pay as you go and they say the charge will be deducted from the balance.

still have yet to find an idiot CSR that will just unlock no questions asked.

Any update? I had 2 "ok it is unlocked" so far but seems not to work... (AT&T)

I emailed them and they mailed me asking the following:

- Full name on the account
- Last invoice date
- Last invoice amount
- Full address with post code.

and i dont have anything of the above

Sorry to bring a dead post back alive but i have tried from 10:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. (4 Hours STRAIGHT) and i got no one to unlock it.. All rep's are telling me i need a o2 number and are asking me email registered to account etc.... Nothing.... This is rubbish..... ********.... Anyone got it working?
