Update with Gevey Sim

Hello,

I bought Gevey Sim and it unlocked my Iphone perfectly. I have an Ip4 4.1 on 02.10.04. I was wondering if I can update my iphone to the latest firmware using itunes and still be able to unlock it with Gevey Sim.

If I update my iPhone 4 bb 02.10.04 iOS 4.1 will I lose my apps and my history's games, my saved game data?

yeah you can always preserve your bb. do you guys think old gevey sim will unlock all basebands and all Ios.lets say i have 4.3.2. the old gevey will unlock it or not ?

I believe some eBay listings have already stated 4.3.2 compatibility. It should be fine. But I would always preserve the baseband.

I was wondering if I could update for the last without loose the unlock by my gevey sim.
Until wich can I run on my iPhone to work with Gevey? And what about the baseband?
And the stuff to preserve the baseband? How it works? And this would help to update without affect my unlock with Gevey? There is any issues on doing that?

i just used my gevey sim on 4.3.2 . it works but it has only one signal bar .Anyone knows why ? and i dont have wifi hot spot in settings ?i used snowbreeze to jailbreak and hactivate it.any ideas ? ?

You can upgrade to 4.2 and preserve your BB using TinyUmbrella and GP.

If you have an older Gevy, as I do, don't go beyond 4.2.1

...if you have gone to 4.3.1, look-up hiddengoffer's post. He was able to get it going...

4.2.1 is great... Very stable!
