They're not the same thing is the bottom line.
I understand the technicalities behind this method, I just wanted to clarify that a PC isn't the same thing as a Mac they do the same job but they don't do it the same way.

I imagine this file would then get renamed to wildcard_record.plist to work?
I'd like to learn more about the acutil app, wish this guy would document anything.

160GB Black iPod Classic
16GB iPhone 3GS
60GB iPod Classic
80GB iPod Classic
120GB iPod Classic

I'm still on hold with wireless, have no idea if I've been processed or not. Still hasn't been an update from his distributer as of this morning.

People are still confused about that 112 process... It's NOT illegal if you don't allow it to connect.. It only becomes illegal if some nun-nut let's the call go through (verified this by multiple police officers)
And I spoke to wireless yesterday and he said unlocks were on hold. Not too sure if it's still the case

I see that the OP hasn't updated his first post.
Basically, everyone who is selling this 'factory IMEI unlock' is unable to continue unlocking. The service provider cannot unlock anymore, but the details of why are unknown (or at least not publicly available).
I hope it starts working again, because I really did want to place an order after the initial backlog had cleared. Guess we may have missed out on the opportunity if Apple did permanently block whomever was able to add to their whitelist.

Besides police don't generally dispatch/call take (unless they are in some little mountain town with a population of 50), they're out on the street. They don't know how to operate the equipment in dispatch let alone know the procedures that are followed there. Seems to me like you are a salesman for this SIM and have something to benefit by tricking more people into buying it.
The end. + You are off topic.

I recommend rephrasing what you said. Last post I'll post via gevey process. Don't mean to thread jack.
But I'm not a salesman. I'm an electronics technician that does this for a living. I had to verify this before using it and distributing to customers.
In all honesty I'd much rather recommend using factory unlock. This guy seems very legit
Only issue is price different and convenience.
