I figured it would have to go through Apple because of the necessity to have the IMEI number. It is officially unlocked with an IMEI number and theough itunes but this is assuming it isn't a scam. I am looking forward to the progress of this.
I'm wondering when Apple will start to try and stop it as well in the future if this is true. Unless it's oddly Apple-approved...
What has me worried is that this may be getting done in a way that Apple will not approve of, which in turn could lead to them just as easily taking your IMEI off the unlock list.
In my opinion, if it is a way that apple isnt approving i see apple just patching or removing the leak, i dont think they well end up going through and removing the unlocked devices to make locked state.
One of the suppliers says that they will not re-lock, once device is unlocked it will continue to be unlocked forever.
Also I personally have not EVER seen apple re-lock a iPhone either.
