Thread: A new permanente unlock for iPhones with all basebands including at&t

  1. #21
There are a few places doing it for $145.00 I have one guy telling me he can get me for 75-100. Depending on quantity.

I have over 30+ emails from all the suppliers.

I figured it would have to go through Apple because of the necessity to have the IMEI number. It is officially unlocked with an IMEI number and theough itunes but this is assuming it isn't a scam. I am looking forward to the progress of this.

I'm wondering when Apple will start to try and stop it as well in the future if this is true. Unless it's oddly Apple-approved...

Yeah...you can *almost* buy a new phone with that.

From the little knowledge I have about JBing or ULing, I'd have to guess that they manage to add your IMEI to Apple's servers.

Annie: I doubt it's Apple approved. Hahahaha.

What has me worried is that this may be getting done in a way that Apple will not approve of, which in turn could lead to them just as easily taking your IMEI off the unlock list.

In my opinion, if it is a way that apple isnt approving i see apple just patching or removing the leak, i dont think they well end up going through and removing the unlocked devices to make locked state.

One of the suppliers says that they will not re-lock, once device is unlocked it will continue to be unlocked forever.

Also I personally have not EVER seen apple re-lock a iPhone either.

Then again you've never seen apple unlock a phone on a US phone

Its hard to say what Apple can or may do.

That is true and at this time only 1 way to find out, that is by seeing what apple will really do.

    MuscleNerd just tweeted this:

"@sherif_hashim one worry with grey market unlocks (which utilize access to Apple's NCK database) is http://is.gd/Tj3dMx"
