no sim recognition

I unlocked my iphone 3gs 4.3.1 bb05.16.02 usingsnowbreeze and redsnow. The screen works but the phone is not recognizing my tmobl sim card. any suggestions

that baseband is not unlockable using ultrasn0w. What you did was jailbreak, not unlock.

I must have upgraded to the new ipad baseband because everything else, wifi apps is working

You may have used the hacktivation process (in snowbreeze) to get past requiring itunes to activate. Baseband version doesn't have an effect on whether wifi works. Do you have 06.15.00 modem baseband? That is the ipad baseband

Yes I do have the ipad baseband 6.15. Now when i go to itunes it will ask me if I want to restore as a new iphone or restore as my ipod. I don't know whatthe next step should be.....
