3gs w 4.3.1 bb 5.16.01 jailbreak w sn0wbreeze 2.5.1

I've been reading all the different guides on how to jailbreak your 3gs running 4.3.1 with bb 5.16.01, i just need clarification on a few things.

it's possible to jailbreak but i need to put ipad baseband 6.15 on the phone. is it still possible to have gps functionality? do i need to downgrade the baseband to a lower version?

You can't downgrade a baseband. You have to upgrade. If you upgrade, it will break GPS. There might be a fix in the future for that, but not right now. It also isn't clear if it'll happen at all.
