Default iPhone 2G - Unlock... Not working so far...

    I have an iPhone 2G

    Version: 3.1.3
    Modem Firmware: 04.05.04_G

I went to JailbreakMe, then downloaded Ultrasn0w off Cydia.

    Errors:

    1. T-Mobile SIM CARD: Unregistered SIM gave me an error in iTunes and on the phone.

    2. AT&T SIM, "DIfferent" SIM Card and wanted me to authorize the SIM Card through iTunes Store.

Any idea's to get this little guy unlocked? Not sure what I have done wrong here.

ultrasnow doesnt unlock iPhone 2G. You need bootneuter for iPhone 2G.

    Thank you...

I downloaded it but first thing it did was make my iPhone 2G freeze... I am a little nervous to continue the unlock if this is already occurring... Yikes!!

Just reboot and try again. It is best to apply the unlock with redsnow 0.9.4 though.

    Oops tried it again:

Error: "Could not talk to bootloader... This may be due to a CommCenter collision, so BootNeuter will exit."

    Any advice?

Ahh, so maybe just uninstall BootNeuter and reinstall with redsnow 0.9.4... Should I redo the jailbreak, or is www.jailbreakme.com's jailbreak acceptable for this process?

I would restore to 3.1.3 then use redsnow to jailbreak instead. It can jailbreak and unlock for you at the same time.

    Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 with Redsn0w 0.9.4 | Redmond Pie

I've been following the tutorial,... Except when the jailbreak / unlock using Redsn0w is complete.. it is NOT unlocked and there is not even a Cydia icon installed on my iPhone....

Should I try ONLY checking Unlock and Cydia? and not Already Pwned? It says to do this though in tutorial... Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Yes, only select unlock and install cydia. Not sure why that guide would say to leave already pwned checked, sorry about that. Last time I use that guide to help someone.
