Unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.1 Using Ultrasn0w Fixer
As we all know It was not possible to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS using Ultrasn0w after untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak.The issue has been fixed and released as Ultrasn0w 4.3.1 fixer.
Note:
- Ultrasn0w unlock is supported by Sn0wbreeze 2.4b1 for following basebands.
- Baseband 01.59.00 (iPhone 4)
- Baseband 04.26.08 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 05.11.07 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 05.12.01 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 05.13.04 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 06.15.00 (iPhone 3GS)
- iPhone 3GS baseband will be upgraded to iPad baseband 06.15.00 after that only iPhone 3GS can be unlocked.By upgrading to baseband 06.15.00 you might lose your GPS feature.
- You need to have a jailbroken iOS 4.3.1 device.
Steps 1: Launch Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.1.
Steps 2: Tap on Manage tab at the bottom of the screen.
Steps 3: Select Sources from opened Manage window.

Steps 4: Select Edit and then select Add.
Steps 5: Type repo as Cydia.pushfix.info

Steps 6: Tap on Add Source.Once the source has been added by Cydia then Tap on Return to Cydia button.
Steps 7: As soon as the installation is completed please search for "Ultrasn0w fixer for 4.3.1" in Cydia and install it.
It will automatically unlock your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.1 running following basebnds
- Baseband 01.59.00 (iPhone 4)
- Baseband 04.26.08 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 05.11.07 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 05.12.01 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 05.13.04 (iPhone 3GS)
- Baseband 06.15.00 (iPhone 3GS)

I've just tried this on my 3gs with 4.3.1 -Firmware 06.15.00 and works great!!!

This sort of works for me... I have really bad reception (1 bar), but it "works" and the other ultrasnow fixer (the one from the djayb6 rep) didn't at all.

would it be possible to upgrade the iPhone 4's baseband to 6.15 using the latest version of Redsn0w and then unlock it, just like a 3G or 3GS?

Ive tried to install the ultrafixer but this is the message i get. the requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that can not be automatically found or fixed. Help

You dont need ultrasnow fixer anymore. Ultrasnow was officially updated to to fix the issues.

Make sure 3G is off and try rebooting.

ok ill try that again. i have re jail broke this thing like 1o times. whats 1 more time with ultrasn0w
