BB 2.10.04/3.10.01 Preservation for future unlock

I have an iPhone 4 on 4.1 w/ BB 2.10.04 and Im thinking of updating to 4.3.1. My question is being on 2.10.04 will the baseband preservation mode in snowbreeeze work and keep it at 2.10.04 when I upgrade to 4.3.1??? Would using tiny umbrella be a better choice??? How bout my other iphone 4 on 3.10.01, will it work on preserving that baseband until a new unlock is released?? Thanks for any information on this!!!

2.10.04 is not unlockable currently, SO there is no reason for you to preserve the BB...Rest assured when there will be an unlock released in future, That "unlock" would definitely be able to unlock the "then" latest baseband.
