    Default iPhone 4 Unlock + T-Mobile

    Friends,

I am interested in purchasing a iphone 4 but not use carriers AT&T or Verizon and only T-Mobile. I know that the iPhone 4 must be unlocked and jailbroken. I have performed jailbreaks in the past - no problem there but never unlock.

If I purchase a new iphone straight from apple and unlock it. Can I use t-mobile carrier? What iOS version and baseband will be installed on this phone? I was reading briefly in these threads that a specific baseband is not allowing unlock. If so, can my baseband be downgraded to the previous version?

    Please advise,

    Thank You,

No not unless you get a factory unlocked or one that still has the 1.59 bb preserved which is extremely hard to find and you wont be able to get one from apple
