3GS upgrade to 4.3 but now no signal.. ahhh!!! help

Have iphone 3GS with base band 06.15.00 and just did the update from 4.1 to 4.3. I have been using ultrasnow and am still pretty new at the whole unlocking thing so not sure what the diff is between the programs. Anyways my issue is after the update I only have one bar of service but can't make calls. I can get on wifi just fine and have read other posts about turning caller id "on" and the others to "off" still bupkiss!!! I am happy to downgrade back and have tiny umbrella that I have a 4.1 shsh saved but no idea how to utilize that program. Need my phone, resorting to an old blackberry is not ideal!!

Just unlock with Ultrasn0w 1.2 and then run Ultrasn0w 4.3 fixer, (search in cydia) then re-boot and you should have signal bars, carrier name etc on your screen.

Hi, I have a 3GS which I upgraded to 4.3.1 installed ultrasnow and ultrasnow fixer but it just doesn't work. I've been searching since the untethered jailbreak was released. Best bet is to downgrade if you can until an ultrasnow upgrade is available. :-(

On your version firmware and Baseband you can only downgrade to an Apple stock firmware which is iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw

Then you must Jailbreak with limerain. Then you can use pwanage tool 4.3.1 and make a custom firmware, Jailbreak and unlock with Ultrasn0w 1.2 and then run Ultrasn0w fixer 4.3 and re-boot.

So installed the ultrasn0w fixer when it came out and that worked for me. although I have been noticing ill loose signal and it cant find it until i restart once in a while. Also had to reconfigure my mms settings because it wasnt sending. So phone is working now YAY!! Someone told me to use greenpoison instead of ultrasn0w but i think at this point it would screw my phone up. still getting familiar with this unlocking notion
