Iphone 3GS 4.2.1 Jailbreak/Unlock problem.

Hey guys
About a month ago I did a huge mistake,I upgraded my iphone's FW to 4.2.1(from 3.1.2 which was fine IMO) and found out it is not unlockable.

What i dont get is why i can't even jailbreak it using greenpois0n??


I've saved all my SHSH but the thing is i can't do anyhing with it now...it's stuck on Recovery mode.

Please if you have any suggestions or solutions to this jailbreak problem.. at least... because i know that for the unlock i'm gonna wait for some time as we all do....and hope it will be out soon

Are you sure it is a 3GS and not a 3G?

yeah of course it's 3gs and i'm also pretty sure it's old bootrom

If it is old bootrom just give redsnow 0.9.6rc8 a try if greenpoison is giving you issues. You should find out for sure what bootrom it is though.

If you have SHSH blobs saved just downgrade. That's what I would do.

well i downgraded again to 3.1.2 and now i'll just have to sit back and wait until this 5.15 unlock is out... this is so frustrating :/
