I am absolutely unable to unlock for use with t-mobile?? Any help is appreciated.

ok from what I've read, that move will hamper gps. So I guess I'm gonna wait. Here's a question, do these baseband issues tend to get resolved? Is it just a matter of time, or has it happened in the past where some basebands simply aren't unlockable? Thanks.

I don't know, most of the time the Dev-Team has been able to find some sort of unlocking solution,

Example if you are on 4.1 and you have baseband 5.14, you cannot unlock on that baseband but Dev-Team gave us the iPad Baseband files so that you can upgrade the baseband and still unlock.
