HI all,how are you. i have 1 question. so,this is the problem,
I have 3gs iphone with 4.0 version (i didnt upgrade it jet because of unlock ).and my baseband is 05.11.07 and that baseband is unlockable...so..i want to upgrade my iphone to 4.2.1 and still have my baseband on 05.11.07.
do i need custom ipsw 4.2.1 that is not upgrading my baseband?
is there any tutorial or something to help me
ps.cydia shs blobs: a saved them all on cydia by "make my life easier"i have all blobs from 3.1.2 to 4.2.1+,
so,what do i need to do?
get tinyumbrella?where can i download custom ipsw?

just download pwnage tool (Mac) or snowbreeze (pc) and use that! they create custom firmwares, upgrading the firmware but not the baseband. I'm not sure if snowbreeze has been updated to support 4.2.1 but it Feds works on 4.1. give that a go
doesn't matter what apple is signing anymore, if cydia has saved it, you've got your blobs. TU is just to have a local copy of your shsh. it's a good idea to save your shsh before you try pwnage tool/snowbreeze
download ireb from ih8sn0w.com, run it to put your device in a pwned dfu state. open tiny umbrella and start your tss server, then hold the shift key and click restore and point it torwards your custom ipsw

1 more question do i need 1st press shift+update(with custom Ipsw) because i am on 4.0 fw to get custom 4.2.1 and then restore it for jailbreak,or i can on 4.0 select (shift+restore) 4.2.1 ipsw then jailbreak...
