Unlocked UK iphone 4 work in Canada?

Hi Guys,

Thought it would be best to speak to some people on the net first before going ahead and unlocking my phone.

I am from the UK and I am moving to Canada next month and I have a iphone 4 locked to Vodafone, I am wondering if I unlock the sim would I be able to get a Canadian sim contract/pay as you go and it would all work ok?

If you successfully software unlock or officially unlock through your carrier (if they provide it) any SIM will work in your device.
