Cannot add sources in cydia after 4.2.1 jailbrake

I own an iphone 3g running 4.2.1 BB 06.15 I just jailbroke with redsnow 9.6 beta 5 and everything went smoothly, I'm trying to get ultrasn0w from cydia to unlock my tmobile phone but I cannot get any source to download including the all important repo666.ultrasn0w.com I have a strong wifi connection but all I get from cydia is "unable to load (the internet appears to be offline)" When I try to add a source I get the message "Did not find repository"...yada yada... So my phone is showing full wifi signal but no cellular bars which I figure is normal, is there anyone able to help me? I would greatly appreciate it thank you!

Can anyone give me some advice, I've been searching for answers everywhere...Im thinking maybe its a bad ipsw (but I got it straight from sn0wbreeze) Does anyone know of somewhere I can get a good ipsw for 4.2.1? Please Help!

You can search google as MMi cannot distribute custom made firmwares and sn0wbreeze is known to be buggy. Why not make a sn0wbreeze ipsw with cydia add ultrasn0w and then jailbreak with redsn0w for the newer cydia?

Wait didn't see that you used redsn0w 0.9.6 b5 try jailbreaking with redsn0w 0.9.6 rc8 instead

I got it to work!!! All i needed to do was change wifi connections (luckily i had 2 of them to choose from) and cydia magically worked...yayay!!!
