Yeah a typo on the iPhone, now with all that hype I can sleep better with my iPhone unlocked haha. Sad part is I'm with Att but hey atleast I know it's unlocked and 80 bucks down the drain.

there are video's floating around confirming that it works, but the question i have is if the service is good? because i remember that my friend use to use the turbo sim for his 3g, it use to alwase drop calls, or there was no service so he had to either constantly walk around with it saying "there is no SIM" or had to constantly restart his phone

do you have to repeat the process when rebooting the phone or when the phone looses power?
03-23-2011, 06:44 PM #32
yes... it seems so... put its only like a 3 step process that is really easy once youve done it once or twice
the phone does respring ok and find the signal again
reception seems to be normal... i have full bars most of the time. have had phone calls with no problems
the turbo sim came with a new sim door as well so the fitment is really good, its not like the old turbo sims on the 3g (if you guys remember those)

eergsxr, i know that you have to cut a piece out of the sim in order to make it compatible with the gevey sim, im assuming you were using a 3G or 3GS before getting the I4 working. Do you think the sim will still work without the gevey sim? the reason why im asking is because im highly thinking about getting the gevey sim temporarily untill the permanent unlock releases
03-24-2011, 01:19 PM #40
you are correct about having to cut a small square out of a corner. but im pretty sure it will still fit normally...
