i downgrade it already to firmware 4.1 but my baseband is 05.16.01

if u update my firmware to 4.2.1 will the basedband mchange also?

Not on that baseband you will have to updated it to the ipad baseband which then you will be stuck with that bb always

I have an iPhone 4 and I am on 4.2.1 bb are different on a 3GS and a 4 so that does matter.

As for an unlock on 5.16 we háček no eta for that.
