So it does work?
They just priced the SIM at $75 its way to much just to test, I'll have others test it for me.

Haha wait till I get my insurance iPhone. I'll do a video but like proof is needed. The price is just too much unless your happy to pay around 70 usd for the chip, then your phone is unlocked but for that price buy a factory unlocked phone. Chinese clients buy it cause they paid around 5000rmb ( 600-700usd) for the phone so a other few hundred don't hurt anymore.
We needs musclenerd to release a free one after he has made all his money. Haha no more samples now it's time to pay up! Lol
Hahhaa good idea to do a group buy?Last edited by KMProduct; 03-17-2011 at 04:27 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Hm, I wasn't anticipating it to be $75. It wasn't ever that expensive before. If that were me I wouldn't get it. Maybe if it was $25-$30 I would.
I know Gevey makes working turboSIMs, but it isn't worth $75 IMO.

See, I read that it uses 112 emergency calls while calling or something that means it can get you banned off the network.
Read it here:

Yeah +1 on that. I thought it was a good temp solution but the illegal factor is just not sinking right. I'd be paranoid.

You will have to manually dial 112.
I have ordered mine for use in the Oceania.
Countries outside the USA where users dial - 112 will be forwarded to Emergency.
In my country if you were to dial it on a phone with or without a simcard it generally takes upto 10 seconds before somebody will answer for police, fire, ambulance.
Im hoping to receive mine this week. Honestly for $70USD its cheaper then waiting for a so called software unlock to ever happen. I made the mistake thinking $729USD AT&T No contract from Apple for 32GB IP4 Last August.. If I were to put that up on ebay as Locked AT&T its only worth less then half for something that has not been used if I Could ever sell it at all?
Thats what I get for trying to save $300 thinking it was unlockable.. If this Gevey thing lives for the last 6 months of warranty I have left. Then it's totally worth it IMHO. Maybe by then 02.10.01 would be finally unlocked

I'm living in Norway, here we got three numbers to dial for emergency.
1) 112 for the police
2) 113 for the ambulance
3) 110 for the fire department
Will it work with the GEVY sim?
