Ahh, ya. From what MuscleNerd tweeted a few weeks back it looks to be vulnerable to the same exploit they were working with. I think they are focused on the NCK unlock right now though so don't know if any progress on this has been made.

It seems to be legit. Although the original ones werent very reliable, only time will tell if these ones are.
