Iphone 3GS does not seem to unlock. Please help
I just unlocked my iphone 3GS and I put in my T-mobile SIM and it says Searching... on the top left. I cannot make calls.
I first jailbroke this phone using Greenpois0n (Windows). It said Searching... then I jailbroke using redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 (Windows). It still says the same thing: "Searching...". I also installed ultrasn0w.
My configuration:
Modem Firmware is 05.15.04. Iphone 3GS 4.2.1
Is there a fix for this?

If I upgrade to iPad baseband 06.15 will I be trapped with iOS 4.2.1 until apple releases an iOS for iphone 3GS with baseband 06.15 or higher?

Thank you so much for that important information of losing GPS. The GPS is one of the reasons I have the iphone. Theres no way Im going to change the baseband. Its been so long since firmware 4.2.1 has come out I dont see why no one is building an unlock for baseband 05.15.04

I think who ever is doing this is either having no money or excess money. Both are causes of low motivation in getting this done in time.
