iphone 4 jailbreak help

Hi friends,

I do have iphone 4 which is 4.1 with 2.10.4 and its factory unlocked.

So need a jailbreak how do i do that.

please help.

USe redsn0w or pwnage tool to jailbreak

green poison has been working great for me, i tried with limera1n first but seemed to have horrible battery drain issues. i would suggest updating to 4.2.1 (not 4.3!) and jailbreak from there as they seem to have fixed some of the bugs. green poison will work with 4.1 as well though!

I personally have only had gp work once for me so not anyones best bet. And most of the other people i talk to say the same thing

if you have access to a mac use pwnage tool for sure though, i liked it cuz you have the option to build custom firmware, add all your cydia sources and set the size of your system partion all in the same .ipsw file

Use Redsn0w 0.9.6rc8.

It has the new and faster Cydia on 4.1. If you need further assistance on how to use Redsn0w, I'm sure I can find a guide somewhere for you to use.

the only problem i know of with GP is something to do with reading ibooks. which i don't do anyways.
i like being able to change the boot logo with GP =)

The iBooks issue has been resolved, and the custom animated bootlogos only work on 4.2.1 with the new GP.

On 4.1 OP would have to search for the old version of GP.

I enjoy the bootlogos too. I have the MMi one.
