Just bought the iphone4 has version modem firmware 01.59.00, is anyone please guide me step-b step how to unlock this baby?

if I choose to use Windows (Redsn0w & Pwnage Tool) could anyone send me the link where to get the pwnage too via pm box please. or what if I use the sn0wBreeze , wat is the down side ?
in another words, jb via Mac or windows which one is better ?

If all you have is windows then you will either need to use the tiny umbrella method of preserving your baseband and then greenpoison to jailbreak or use snowbreeze to make a custom 4.2.1 firmware which will preserve your baseband.

If you have a Mac using pwnage tool is the safest method.

one question, while doing jb and unlock, Do I need to have the SIM card in the phone ? and AT&T or Tmobile SIM for activation ?

You dont need the sim card in except for after the restore for activation. Use a ATT sim to do that.

Alrite, guys need your help now. Just got home d/l the pwnage tool 4.2 and the 4.2.1 ipws from iclarified dot com. I launch the pwnge up first notice showed cobyright on 2010. (in iclarified guide show 2011). I selected expert mode then browser to the 4.2.1_8C148 ipws file after few seconds it popup WRONG FIRMWARE BUNDLE SELECTED.
please help.
DO I need to download different pwnage tool?

I got it now. I did d/l again from iclarified site then very thing work perfect. I can't believe that Pwnage tool for Mac so easy to follow. IT'S UNLOCKED NOW

the last thing I need help is the setting up MMS/EDGE for this iphone4. I could not find any setup like I used to have in 3GS. How do I make it work ?
