Old iphone saved shsh / firmware to new refurb ?
Hi I had the iphone 4 on 4.1 bb 05.19 i think and the screen cracked but I had saved the shsh and the baseband prior... now i got a new refurb from apple on 4.2.1 on bb 03.10.1 is there any way i can use the old blob and bb to downgrade this refurb or do I have to wait for the unlock?

Yes iPhone 2G vs 4 is a huge diff. I could never even go back to a 3G let alone 2G.

If you saved your SHSHs before Apple stops signing the firmware then yes.
You would simply run TinyUmbrella, click Save SHSH to pull them into TU, and then Start TSS Server. Then open iTunes and hold shift (option on Mac) and click restore then select the firmware you have SHSHs for that you want to go to.

It would point to Cydia's server to utilize your saved SHSHs during a restore rather than Apple's server
