You can't factory unlock only the service provider can unlock it.

Not exactly they can probably unlock its just a software unlock like we all know how to do.

but from the site it mentions we just need to send our full IMEI number...
we dont need to send our iphone at all once its activated or unlock for this IMEI they will tell us from email

softbank.....i know i can do with jailbreak ultrasn0w but i heard it will drain the battery so fast...so factory unlock would be better in that case

Of course it is possible to factory unlock an iphone 4 on 4.2.1, but it's not possible for at&t only for some european carriers as orange in france and some others, not sure why

The unlock its called IMEI unlock and it cost around 60 bucks, it's done online and all you need to do is to send the IMEI number.

I've been waiting for this unlock because it won't affect any future FW updates and my iphone will be factory unlocked, you will forget all ultrasnow stuff and all the headache of waiting for the devteam to release something that may not be released ever

of course it's real but not accesible for AT&T unlockers, if you were locked to orange, movistar, O2-UK and some others you will be able to do it, AT&T won't release this unlock in US never

I just wanted to point this out as there is a lot of misinformation on Modmyi forums these days as all previous posts on this thread, not sure why people say things without knowing anything about it
