I have iphone 3gs 4.2.1 with baseband 5.15.4 so I need to unlock it.

Please do help me. there are sevral version of ultrasn0w I am not sure which one to use. and how

I don't think 5.15.4 can be unlocked for now.

You need to update to iPad Baseband (6.15) because 5.14 cannot be unlocked

Warning: iPad Baseband disables GPS and stock restores through iTunes, you would have to use custom firmware to restore.

That isn't true, you would need to restore using custom firmwares.

No! You cannot restore. I've tried it. You'll be forced to downgrade to 4.1 to be able to use your iPhone.
I got stocked with my iPhone 3GS. Mess the gps up. Overall, it wasn't worth it.

I just did a 3GS with iPad baseband, got a custom 4.2.1 firmware, n it restored perfectly through iTunes. Unless you skipped a step. You need a CUSTOM firmware built by pwnage tool, use redsnow to put into pwnd dfu mode then restore with iTunes.

Is this true? Can anyone else back this up? That there is a new unlock ready for 5.15.04 etc.
