untethered jailbreak. But only unlockable if you update to the iPad baseband.

I am in this current situation with an old phone I am waiting to sell. I currently am not willing to update to the iPad baseband because of the features of the phone that would be crippled by it.

Hard to tell a person "yeah it is jailbroken and unlocked" without telling them that the GPS is now broken.

I am going to wait till another unlock comes out.
