iphone 3gs - partial gps problem
I am new to this group and have come to get a solution from the bright minds here.
I have a iphone 3gs ver 4.2.1., firmware 6.15.00
this is a usa - jailbroken and unlocked phone. I have installed a couple of cydia packages now n then when i needed. Everything wifi etc works fine.
I have installed a few gps packages which seem to work ok. It starts fine. detects my location. finds the destination. but does not move. When i hv moved a few meters, it goes to another location - so basically it does not trace the path. the speed is continuosly at 0km/ph
The arrow / car / object whch symbolizes the CAR stands still. But every once a while it just randomly picks location and speaks up.
I am sure gps is working fine but there could be something else which could be creating a problem . . but am not sure whats happenin here
can you please help me!!!!!
cheers

No, GPS isn't working fine. Using the 6.15.00 iPad baseband for the 3GS unlock breaks GPS. Google maps will work with cell towers/wifi-networks, but any real GPS doesn't work right now.... Some people are waiting till 4.3 comes out to see if the dev team will release a Baseband downgrader, or some other fix.

does it find your location exactly or to within 100-200m?
