I have just jb my fone and now need to unlock it, I have downloaded ultrasn0w but that hasn't worked !?!? I am on 05.14.02 can this been unlocked ?? Thanks

5.14 is not lockable wait till feb 28th.people have een waiting since november. Lets hope it comes on 28

Install the iPad baseband if you really need unlock

I could really do with unlocking it asap as am from uk but now living in Australia and want my Oz sim card to work in it how do I download the iPad gear ??

You need to download redsn0w and your phones firmware then run redsn0w and check the "Install iPad Baseband" then press next and follow the directions on putting your phone into DFU Mode. Then once it's done it will reboot and unlock via Ultrasn0w

But keep in mind you will only able to restore from custom firmware and you will loose gps and battery drains faster if you dont apply fix,wait till end of this month or next if you can for release other wise lots of people I have observed using 6.15 baseband

You will not be able to use any GPS apps such as "NAVIGON" or "Tom Tom" and there have been reports of the battery draining faster but I haven't had any problems with it.

Yeah found that gps doesn't work but everything else does so it's all good. The battery doesn't last long anyway the amount I use it (second battery pack=longer life lol)

No worries they are working on an Baseband Downgrade, no eta yet but it's coming.
