No signal bars but can use internet

4.2.1 with ipad 6.15 baseband

Problem
After unlock with ultrasn0w, I get the carrier "logo" but no signal bars.
The data traffic is working, but I can not use the phone or sms.

What i have tried
-Multiple Restores/jailbreak attempts
-SAM activation
-Airplane mode on/off
-3g network on/off

Nothing works. Seems like many people have this problem, but no fix is out there?. Can someone help me?

Most likely a hardware issue, take it too Apple and cause a scene and get yourself a new iPhone 4
