I have had my 3GS unlocked and using it right out of the store for almost 2 years on T-Mobile.
Once I upgraded the phone and turned it into an ipod and after a few weeks I got it unlocked again...

Well duh...I did it again and I am waiting again. But!!!

I noticed something strange. I have NO NETWORK so I leave it in Airplane Mode to save the battery.
When I changed countries or timezones (U.S.) the time would update to the current area when Airplane Mode was released, but there is NO NETWORK!

Is this a partial unlock? Is it seeing some part of the cell information? Just find this interesting!
