Updating Baseband to 06.15.00 with the newest Pwnage Tool

So a friend of mine asked me to unlock his iPhone 3GS today. It is the new bootloader 8GB iPhone 3GS. So It was extremely convenient that the new pwnage tool came out today that supports untethered jailbreaks to the new bootloader. but now the issue is that the new pwnage tool did not give me an option to update the baseband to the ipad's 06.15.00 baseband. so how can i unlock the phone now?

I have the same problem... I am thinking I have to use the older version of pwnagetool (4.1.3) to add the baseband on 4.1 for 3GS, restore to that custom firmware, then use Pwnage tool 4.2 to restore to 4.1.2, which is untethered.

Any way around this?

This is what I did with a 3GS iphone.
Update version to 4.2.1 with itunes and shift restore to select my already donwloaded 4.2.1 ipsw software.
Then I used redsnow to install cydia and ipad baseband.
Then I simply ran the GreenPoison jailbreak to make it untethered.
Then I just went on to cydia update and unlock.
Life is good, after that.
