help Identify which Canadian Carrier iPhone 4 is Locked too

Hi Guyz...

one Of my friend has got an iPhone from Canada, totally unknown source so we can't really refer to anyone..

I've installed latest CUSTOM 4.2.1 on it preserving the baseband but since I don't have the official sim card, I can't activate it..

I know there is no way to Hacktivate too!! so trying to arrange an official Sim Card from Canada.
I checked some GSM forums in which people said the Serial No & model Nos can help identify the carrier...

Model no is MC605C/A which is not listed in the list you gave above.. Canu help identify this model no's Carrier ???

Also, is Baseband 02.10.04-ICE_2_8 unlockable ???

Well its not unlockable yet but I think you can check it on the apple website if I'm not mistaken just look at the warranty status with the sn and I think it should tell you could be wrong or as the guy on top said google the model number up

I just checked apple for you and it said it isn't even activated at all so you can't find out but you can hacktivate. Just jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.6 rc8 and then jailbreak with greenpois0n to get the jailbreak to be untethered.

I only have 4.2.1 shsh for this fone, so nothing previous to 4.2.1 is gonna install on this...

Anyway I can hacktivate it using redsnow ???? I heard it used iPad baseband to hacktivate ??

Nope you just jailbreak. The iPad baseband is only for the 3gs and 3g. You want to stay away from that.
