Restore to custom firmware 4.2.1 3gs

Have you tired rebooting and then seeing if push notifications are working? Download ipusher from the appstore, it can test them for you.

I already rebooted and tried ipusher, when i press test push notifications it shows please wait and nothing happens

I believe it's an issue with the jailbreak and memory usage... I had to do a fresh restore and re-jailbreak so that all the shadow memory and jailbreak software would function more efficiently.

Hi. I have a 3GS and I was stucked on 5.15.04 with 4.1 Using windows 7.
I finally unlocked my baby yesterday with Redsn0w/Ultrasn0w/ipad baseband ect.... The phone worked great for 1 day, and I started to put all my cydia apps back. After installing iQuickRealSMS (who wasn't recognizing *the purchase I made 1 year ago), the phone freezed and stucked on reboot/apple logo for 1 hour.*
I tried to restore with custom 4.1 with iTunes, but it's failing all the time.*
Questions:*
- Am I supposed to restore again before redo the redsn0w jailbreak/unlock ? If yes am I supposed to use the custom 4.1 ? Or should I download a custom 4.2 ?*
- Since I succeed yesterday and all was working great before that stupid accident, am I already on 6.15 baseband ? (maybe that's why iTunes refuse to restore my custom 4.1 ?)
- Or am*I supposed to just re-jailbreak straight with Redsn0w/Ultrasn0w without restoring with iTunes ?

A similar situation as this one happened to me too, only my boot logo lasted for about 6-7 minutes.

Your best option is to restore. Unless you want to wait it out until your phone finally boots up into "safe mode" where you can remove the app/tweak.

Personally, I would go with the restore, it's a lot faster than waiting on a loading screen that won't load.

RESTORE with iTunes using the SAME custom firmware?? or go straight to redsn0w and re-jailbreak without passing by iTunes ?? Thx to be specific
