Need Help With Iphone 4

Hi everyone i had bought a iphone 4 and i broke the screen and it stopped working but my friend found one but i think its got a block so you cant use it .

My question was if i could change the imei from my friends phone he found to my broken phones imei so that the phone will work?
Could anyone help me with this?

yes just restore your iPhone to 4.2.1 and restore from backup oh yeah 4.2.1 is jailbreakable

The screen has a block on it? Do you mean switching over to the new phone, why not just pop out your sim and put it into the new phone. If the new phone has a passcode lock it may have been stolen/lost and could be blacklisted. Anyway you could restore it to 4.2.1 to remove the passcode lock.

i dont mean it has a passcode block on it i mean its been blacklisted i think is there anything i could do about that

If its already been blacklisted as far as im aware its useless, unless you want to use it as an ipod touch. I know a guy that bought a 3G in hopes of unlocking it but it had been blacklisted and wouldnt even work with an official at&t sim even after a restore. I would recommend just having your iPhone repaired.

You could ask "your friend" who he stole the phone from and maybe return it.

Where and how did "your friend" "find" this iPhone 4? I think you're a thief trying to use a stolen phone. Thank god for things like the blacklisting that keeps people from using stolen phones.

To my knowledge the imei cannot be ported from one phone to another.
