Iphone 3g with 4.2.1 with 6.15 baseband

Hello all genious people out there...I was happy until I had 4.0.1 with 5.13 and I was being adventerous with all the postings for 4.2.1 with baseband 6.15 and unfortunately I did not save bootrom either and now I cant use my phone because I need a carrier unlock....Please help help HELP.

You should be able to unlock with that baseband. What is the issue?

Thank you moderator, I was able to downgrade to 4.1 with that baseband and now it seems to be working ok...Thank you!
