3GS bb 06.15.00 known issues

Hi All,

I have a 3gs, that needs to be upgraded to bb 06.15.00 in order to be unlocked.

before I do this, I was wondering, would any know what are the known issues with doing this?

I've read that GPS functionality can go away,
battery drain issues (apparently can be fixed by SAM)

anything else? How does wi fi or edge work?

Would your recommend doing this, or wait for an unlock to come out for bb 05.15.04?

Also on this topic I read that it affects gps like Tom Tom but what about google maps and location service?
