how to change APN?

I recently got an iPhone 3g and I can't change the APN via network settings, and the website unlockit.co.nz is down and has been for at least the last 2 days.

Are there any other alternatives? does anyone know why unlockit is down?

Normally you go with your iphone to this site and they change your profile for you

What i also did is take an sim where you can see the APN setting, thne stay in the menu and change sim again with thew original. (this is an official methode from Sim only en prepaid bellen met Ben zolang jij wilt ? | Ben

Use this site instead.

http://help.benm.at/tetherring.php instead

You must do it from Safari on your phone and then just install the appropriate settings from the site.

Site is working fine I put one too many r in tethering.
Retype URL with one r.

I noticed nebo you were on a 3gs 4.1 tmobile. I have my spare 3gs 4.1 jaibroken with limera1n but im trying to unlock it. It has the 5.14.02. Did you do the 6.15.00 modem upgrade then unlock it? I want to get my girlfriend on it since her mytouch4g SUCKS!! Its ready to go, just not unlocked, any help would be great. Thanks again for the benm link ;-)

No I am very careful with upgrades and always use pwnage tool to maintain baseband. My baseband is 5.13 and will not upgrade until pwnage tool is available for 4.3

Thanks for the help, on a side note, unlockit.co.nz is back up, I guess I just picked a bad day to get a new phone and try to unlock it
