i have updated my iphone 3gs to os4.2.1 and some how downgraded to 4.0 becoz of unlock error on 4.2.1 no i m on 4.0 but unable to unlock..

iphone 3gs mc model
bootloader 6.04
baseband 5.15.04


can sum one help me out,,
i have jailbreaked it and used ultrasn0w...
but it shows no service....

help..

does geographical location matter....

ultrasnow doesnt work on that baseband. To unlock you would need to update to the iPad baseband.

okie but what abt the bootloader...

can we go back to 5.09 or 5.08 having bootloader 6.04.....

Your bootloader has no bearing on anything

You're only option to unlock right now is the iPad baseband.

It should unlock it fine.

It's a one way street for 6.15. No going back, so make sure you are sure you want to do it before proceeding.

A ATT sim can be used to get you past the emergency call screen even if it isnt active, if that is what you are asking.
