iphone unlocking/jailbreaking help please :)
ok soooo heres the deal....
i know nothing about iphones i just bought a used iphone 3gs and the modem firmware its running is 5.15.04 4.2.1 , which really means nothing to me but it seems to be important to know when your doing the process
i currently have t-mobile service and would like to use my sim card in the iphone obviously..so would some one please post the easiest step by step link to unlock/jailbreak my phone? all help is greatly appreciated

Simply place your 3GS into DFU mode and click the button.
what exactly does that mean? DFU mode? sry im so new at all this
n i dont exacly know what tiny umbrella is supposed to do, am i supposed to download something

iClarified - iPhone - How to Put an iPhone Into DFU Mode
Download tiny umbrella, connect your device then press save SHSH to see what SHSH you have.
