untethered unlock for 3gs, 4.1, 5.14.02 ?

Hi all,
I know im supposed to search around for this but it was all so confusing.

so i have a 3GS on 4.1 and base band is 5.14.02 i have my shsh saved on cydia from 4.0>4.2.1 (though i never went to 4.2.1 )

so can i do a untethered unlock?

If you want to unlock you need to update your baseband to the ipad one.
Basically use redsnow 0.9.6rc8, point it to a 4.1 regular firmware. Choose to install cydia and the ipad baseband then follow the instructions. Once booted back up install ultrasnow from cydia to unlock.
