    Default 3gs BB 6.15

I jailbroke my iphone 3gs using redsn0w and everythign worked fine until i let the phone die. I tried rebooting tethered and it locked in recovery mode. I have used iReb to put it into pwned dfu to be able to restore with a custom firmware since with the updated bb to 6.15 i can't use regular firmware. Basically what happens is when i try to restore i get error 1015 so i tried reinstalling cydia using redsn0w and it will go all the way thru but then it goes back into recovery mode. I've tried using the stickied guide but its not working for me. I'm running windows 7 if that helps. ANy ideas?

**mod edit: no posting custom fw please**

Here is a custom fw that iYeow pointed me to, to do a restore on a 3gs, put the file on your desktop.

Put the phone into recovery mode and do a shift+restore point to the file on your desktop and let it restore

It will be on 4.2.1 but atleast youll have the phone back in working order

Once your restore jailbreak again with redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 and reinstall unltrasn0w 1.2

I recommended the custom fw restore because you had not stated which firmware you currently have, tiny umbrella will not work (kick out of recovery) with 4.2.1fw but will work with 4.1fw and previous fw's
