iPhone 4 Unlock and Jailbreak

I just received my brand new iPhone 4 in the mail today. The baseband is 3.10.01 I believe with a firmware of 4.2.1. As far as I know, it isn't possible. But is there any way to downgrade to 4.1, or go to a different baseband? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. I need this phone to be unlocked and jailbroken.

With it coming with 4.2.1 you can't downgrade. So you can't unlock. You can jb but it will be tethered, meaning you'll have to run redsn0w on it via computer everytime your phone shuts off or reboots.
