ipad baseband
What are the chances of GPS not working after upgrading to the ipad baseband to unlock? Anyone done a few maybe can advise percentages?
Are there any other known problems?

check your iPhone; if you are on 5.14 or 5.15 baseband with 5.08 bootrom you can downgrade to 5.13, which is unlocked. download fuzzyboard from Cydia and It will tell you if you are able to downgrade and f you can you will be able to do it right there on your device.

It's hard to say. I have seen more success than failure, but there were quite a handful with GPS loss

Thanks for the input Annie, guess it's a lottery.
Did you notice any correlation between which phones still had GPS afterwards and which ones didn't?

I don't think even the devs have figured that one out yet. Like you said, it's a lottery basically. Take your chances or don't....

I'm guessing it throws the real gps off on all of them. It probably still works for some because of cell and wifi triangulation.

Mine works but is 500 meters off from my actual location on average. It's closer sometimes but doesn't do turn by turn directions at all. I pretty much use maps to just get a map of the area I am in and figure it out.
