Default SAM battery drain fix after ultrasn0w?

Trying to figure out how I should use SAM after ultrasn0w as I did not jailbreak my phone with redsn0w. I used jailbreakme. So far after reading the directions it seems like you have to go through redsn0w again to use the deactivate option however I cannot go through redsn0w again or else it puts me at the apple screen and I have to restore. Instead, I just went to the SAM settings and click Revert Lockdownd. My phone does re-active however it activates by itself WITHOUT iTunes. Does this mean SAM even worked? I redid the process with an old at&t sim and it never activated (I read that you can use a old sim to activate but it just didn't do anything since it had no signal). It activates real quick with a T-mobile sim though.

    Thanks guys

I am asking this question instead of just monitoring my battery drainage because I had just purchased my iphone and have no idea how bad of a battery drain ultrasn0w caused so I cannot reference back. I tried searching but no one really states how fast their battery drains in detail.

If you used jailbreakme.com then you were already activated. In that case there is no need for SAM. Something else is causing your battery drain issue.

I belive that close to or morethan 6hrs of use is good. Just fully charge your phone and start using it then check settings/general/usage. It will tell you how much you used it and if you put battery percentage on you can do the math. Like 50% should be about 3hrs of usage so 75% is about 1.5hrs. Hope this helps answer your question.
