Yet another 3G /4.1 (8B1177) b.b. 06.15.00 network problems

Hi I have jailbreaked my iphone 3G 8gb version 4.1 (8B117) b.b 06.15.00 with redsnow and I now manage to get my new sim (Orange) showing up but I have no bars on the network and when I try to call i get call failed. I even installed SAM and de-activated and I also did a reset.
I used Vista.
