Older iPhone unlock help

Okay, so one of my family members picked up an iPhone 2g it's running 3.1.3 and has a baseband of 04.05.04_G It's already jailbroken but I need to unlock it, what would be the best way to do so?

bootneuter is the unlock for that.

Okay, I got bootneuter on it. setting are as fallows. Version 4.6 Neuter on Unlock on. So it should be unlocked, correct?

Been a while since I used it. Does it let you do anything with those settings on or does it say that you already have the current settings?

Well now I'm getting an error. "Couldn't talk to the bootloader. This make be due to the CommCenter collision so BootNeuter will exit"

Your best bet is to restore to 3.1.3 and use redsnow 0.9.4 to jailbreak and unlock at the same time. You can find a guide for that at top of page under guides.

Yeah, I tried that, the iphone 3.1.3 restore I have doesn't get picked up by 0.9.4

You point redsnow to a 3.1.2 firmware. It will jailbreak 3.1.3 by doing this.
