An unlocked iPhone 3GS went wrong
An unlocked iPhone 3GS went wrong
I have an 3GS unlocked iPhone which went wrong after I tried to download songs from itune. It kept saying "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown erro occured (1015)" I can't use the phone at all. On the screen, it freeze with icon of iTunes. Can someone help please. I am using pc, not Mac. I don't have at&t as carrier. Thanks!

Ya, my instructions are for iPhones. Not iPads.

Thank you X98car for your instruction. I am not a computer literate,I am a pc window user, and don't know anything about Mac computer. I tried follow your direction to get my 3GS phone out of recovery mode, but everything seems so "foreign" to me. When I tried google for redsnow 09.6b6, it came so many and some of them end up "page not found". When I tried look for download of 4.2.1 firmware, I end up with same result. I am just going around and around and end up no where right now. Thank you for your patient. Perhaps you can help with by linking the site to me for restoring to custom firmware please? Many thanks!
