I have iphone4 fw 4.0.1 bb 1.59
I unlocked with ultrasn0w but when I install my cut sim tmobile carrier says sim failure then fails all calls what do I do

Reboot the phone and wait at least 30 minutes. Make sure 3G is turned off.

If this doesn't work, restore and jailbreak again and try ultrasn0w again.

If all of that doesn't work, you cut too much of your SIM and need to get a new one.

make sure all of the contact portion of the sim is there (the golden metal part) and like annie said reboot and make sure 3g and maybe data as a whole is off

Does tmobile have the micro sim because that would be easier or me jus to have the right sim instead of the cut one but the cut one works in my 3GS I tried the shut off method

If the SIM works in another phone, it should be fine. It is then your phone, which you should try to uninstall and reinstall ultrasn0w. If that doesn't work, you should try restoring and rejailbreaking.

How do I restore my phone when apple is not sighning 4.0.1 anymore and I dnt want to loose my base band

If you didn't save your SHSHs then you can't restore except to 4.2.1. So...you should check for those SHSHs.

Can't I save the shsh now and restore them to it And does anyone know about smaller sims for tmobile

You can only save SHSHs for the firmware Apple is currently signing which is 4.2.1 and 4.2b3.

Maybe Google can help you with finding out if T-Mobile has microSIMs because that I don't know.

Tmobile Usa does not have micro sims yet
